I can appreciate the argument for copying but Yaqi are certainly not the only ones doing it. There are plenty of sellers in the industry who are copying from each other. Competition is great for the consumer. That handle is absolutely beautiful and a ridiculous bargain. I can get that delivered to my door for $20. The handle alone is worth more than that. Similar quality bare handles are more than double that cost. I'd order that brush just for the handle and re-knot it.

I nicked myself my first shave, because I moved the razor sideways while still in contact with my face. I have not nicked myself since in the past few months. I’m sure I’ll do it again though. I’ll always bowl lather.

Good advice, I think and hope. Old guy late to brush use. My father came to Canada from Manchester in 1926. I saw him shave a large number of times. His soap was in a wooden bowl, no idea what it was. I think he used the same brush, if he bought a new one, he never told me. It must have been around 1955 when he discovered Wilkinson blades. Seldom saw him that happy. So, I bought a Canadian razor from Henson, which has been reviewed with high marks, a mug, soap, and a German Badger brush and stand. I’ll use your suggested break in procedure, because it truly makes sense. Face first, but hoping to shave my head as well, when I work up the skill, and nerve. Clearly, I appreciated your video. Have watched a bunch of videos but yours just connected with me. Thank you!

Interesting. I use the soak in the frig overnight, beat the sh!t out of it for 10 minutes on an old pair of jeans or towel, repeat for 3 days and it's broken in.

I hate to mention this but try some Coconut oil all natural as a pre shave. Your gonna love it. Apply about like you apply pre shave oil from anyone. If you're trying to save money for $4-5 dollars you can have a pre shave that'll last for years. Adds a nice touch and scent to any shave. I use mine on every shave. My skin loves it.

I have the D89 the worse razor I have rodent gove you the closest shave as well actually I anly shave with the grain other side I have a pearl razor made in India and I can say it gives me a super smooth shave

The weather was not that bad, I actualy enjoyed it. A lot of sun and only two times rain. In the Netherlands the weather was worse. Great shave and I am glad to see you again. 😃😃

A very luxurious shave Kevy, niice hardware and software being used there ❤ Great soap, had a 1st use of M&M BDLM2 soap and splash this morning with a Tatara Masamune CC and Shark Platinum blade, BBS shave with no nicks or cut's whatsoever, with a silky smooth post shave afterwards. I'll be getting more M&M soaps and splashe's in the very near future, more than likely the BDLM3 as per your video, as there's something about the scent of Rhubarb I can't get enough of, Lacoste L'Homme Intense EDT being a firm Rhubarb scented favourite, shame I've not found an artisan who does a dupe soap, balm or splash, will keep looking 😊 Stay smooth, stay safe, stay razor burn free Kevy 🙂🙏🕉

I have the Rose Martin de Candre and you only need to swirl the brush a few times to get enough lather for a 3-pass shave. If this soap is in a rotation I should think it will last years.

People highly recommand sandalwood, so I bought one, it's nice. I went to a shop to smell all the scents, Oud and Royal forest probably my next choices.

Great to see you in a video, life can get busy sometimes. That Fatboy is in prime condition. MMGP sounds the goods, nice to see another good UK Artisan. Hahaha ... Kevy: "cannot feel the blade" .. as he starts bleeding ... To make sure I get to empty a few tubs of soap each year I allocate a "Kill Soap" that I use in my non-video shaves (normally a couple a week), yes your right near the end they seem to keep growing!!!
